Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n Pigmented Lipsticks, Cosmetics, Paints, Inks, Coatings, Dyes<\/p>\n The Altern Mill is an environmentally safe, clean closed system that offers reproducible high quality dispersions. Years of technology advancement have resulted in a single unit processor for many \u201cUltra Fine\u201d grinding operations. The Altern Mill combines the features of a High Speed Disperser and those of a Multi Media Mill into one State-of-the-Art Unit.<\/strong><\/p>\n The unique grinding chamber reduces production time and decreases manufacturing costs.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.24.0″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” module_class=”wpz-gallery-masonry” sticky_enabled=”0″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.17.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.17.4″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”15px” text_line_height=”2.1em” ul_line_height=”2.7em” header_3_font=”||||||||” header_3_font_size=”23px” header_3_line_height=”1.5em” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n The mill is used in applications that are FDA approved. The mill is jacketed for heating\/cooling allowing pre-melting of waxes and polymers and control of heat sensitive dispersions. Safety grating for loading of powder\/liquid additions and safety interlocks are also included.<\/p>\n The unit can be supplied with<\/p>\n All internal corners are machined \u201crounded\u201d for easy cleaning of pigment and also to aid dispersion by allowing media to \u201croll\u201d into these \u201ccurves\u201d. Depending on product viscosity, choice of (2) sizes of internal screens and various sizes of \u201cDragonite\u201d grinding media are available.<\/p>\n Mill sizes range from 1 liter to 500 liters.
